Honouring the bees through art and reflection.

where artistry, beekeeping and journalkeeping meet

Working with bees shapes the way I work in my studio. The textures, colors, and structures I encounter in the hive inspire my materials and methods. Just as I observe and respond to the needs of the colony, I explore materials like wax, pollen, wood, and pigments, allowing their qualities to guide the work. My art is a continuation of this attentive practice: documenting, experimenting, and creating with care, rhythm, and collaboration in mind.

Welcome to the Hive

Studio inspired by beekeeping practice

For a decade I am keeping bees in the city of Eindhoven as an urban beekeeper.
